- To prevent and improve degenerative diseases including cardiovascular diseases, geriatric diseases, cancer, aging, etc. using functional food components in the 21st century, we embark on interdisciplinary education in the filed of food technology, nutrition, pharmacology, molecular biology and biotechnology. Moreover, food industry is being fused into other related scientific fields such as pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. Our scope of education encompasses traditional food science, edge-cutting biotechnology and medicinal technology to contribute well being of human life. Our ultimate goal of education is to improve public health and to contribute development of new food products and health industry by comprehensive and interdisciplinary education.
