- Collaboration Program > Program in Visual Culture (Program in Visual Culture)
Although recent innovations in visual media technology require a comprehensive and interdisciplinary interpretation of images, most visual studies departments continue to make individual and superficial analyses. Bearing this in mind, our program is designed to examine visual culture theory and criticism, visual culture policy, visual culture industry, and visual pedagogy. Through this program students will acquire a synthetic vision of culture, history, arts, and technology. Many of our graduates pursue career paths in visual culture theory and criticism, visual culture planning and education.
