Guidelines for Domestic Credit Exchange for Graduate Students in the 2nd Semester of 2025
Following the credit exchange agreement, the guidelines for the course registration for domestic credit exchange (taking courses at other universities) for graduate students are provided below.
Please refer to the attached document and notice (portal and graduate school website) for details.
Be sure to read this carefully and comply with the course registration schedule.
*The guidelines from each university will be updated as soon as they are arrived.

1. Eligibility (Applicant Requirements):
Graduate students who(are expected to) register for the 2nd semester of 2025 (not applicable to graduates).
※ New students can apply after receiving their student ID.
2. Credit Exchange Application Form:
Complete the Application for Credit Exchange Course Registration (Attachment 1) and read the exchange university's guidelines (attached files).
3. How to submit the Application for Credit Exchange Course Registration:
- Fill out the Application for Credit Exchange Course Registration (Attachment 1), obtain the signatures of your academic advisor and department chair, and submit it via email(autumnahreum@korea.ac.kr).
- Email Subject Format: [2025-2 Domestic Credit Exchange] Exchange University Student ID Name
Example: [2025-2 Domestic Credit Exchange] 2022010xxx Hong Gil-dong
Please follow this subject format strictly. Otherwise, your application may be omitted.
- If the exchange university provides its own form, both the Application for Credit Exchange Course Registration form (1 copy) and the exchange university's form (1 copy) must be submitted.
There may be additional documents required by the exchange university, so please read the exchange university’s guidelines and attached files carefully.
- After receiving your email, we will send a confirmation email. If you do not receive the email, please contact us(autumnahreum@korea.ac.kr).
4. Important Notes:
- The courses you apply for must be graduate-level courses at the exchange university that are recognized as relevant to your major. (Courses from professional and specialized graduate schools are not allowed.)
- Some universities may have predefined courses for exchange students, so be sure to read the guidelines carefully.
- Submit the Application for Credit Exchange Course Registration according to the schedule of the respective university (the exchange university’s guidelines and schedule may vary).
- If you need to modify or cancel your credit exchange application, you must submit the Application for Credit Exchange Course Registration Change (Attachment 2).
5. Recognized Credits:
The credits earned at the exchange graduate school are recognized up to a maximum of 6 credits per semester.
The grades will be entered after the grades are finalized based on the official document from the exchange graduate school.
Total recognized domestic exchange credits: Master's program (6 credits), Doctoral program (15 credits), Integrated Master's and Doctoral program (18 credits).
6. University Course Registration Schedule
1) Seoul National University:
The following documents must be submitted by Jul 8, 2025 (Tuesday), by 1:00 PM via email(autumnahreum@korea.ac.kr).

2) University of Ulsan:
