Application/Consent on Conditional Exams for Degree Dissertations

(Graduate School for 2020 Spring Semester)

(Those who fail to pass the Foreign Language Test

and apply for Thesis Exam of Degree Dissertations)

 

As official Foreign Language test schedule was delayed due to Corona 19, those who applied for thesis exam of Degree Dissertation for 2020 Spring Semester and waiting for the Foreign Language Test, exclusively are permitted to submit the test report by changed periods below.

■ only for 2020 Spring Semester

 

■ 「Application on Conditional Examination for Degree Dissertations」 exclusively for 2020 Spring Semester     1. As Corona 19 (novel coronavirus) Spread changed to phase “Serious” for 2020 Spring      Semester, only students who fail to pass the Foreign Language Test because the official test schedule was      canceled and also applied for Thesis Examination of Degree Dissertations have an opportunity to register       “Conditional Examination for Degree Dissertations” for 2020 Spring Semester   2. Eligibility : those who fail to pass the Foreign Language Test (be waitting to take the Foreign    Language Test) after applying for Thesis Examination of Degree Dissertations for 2020 Spring Semester   3. Important Notices    A. Applicants for Conditional Examination for Degree Dissertations should submit Foreign  Language Test Score to the Graduate Administration Office after taking the official foreign  language test during the Degree Dissertations Evaluation Period by 4:00 PM on June 16 (Tue), 2020.  B. If applicant can’t submit Foreign Language Test Score by the above deadline, Thesis       Examination of Degree Dissertations Result is concluded in “Fail” because you are not possible       to meet the condition for dissertation finally.  C. When you rejected to Evaluation of Degree Dissertations, - Enrolled Student : can’t cancel or withdraw application for Degree Dissertations Exam - Completed Student : can’t cancel or withdraw application for Degree Dissertations Exam and                               can’t be refunded paid   Degree Dissertation Fee(5% of Tuition fee) and                                 Additional Registration Fee(2% of Tuition fee) as well. - In the above case, you should apply for Degree Dissertations Exam in the next semester you   want to be evaluated  again. Also you have to pay Degree Dissertation Fee(5% of Tuition fee) and Additional Registration Fee(2% of Tuition fee)    once again.

 

 

1. Who can apply for this

- Only students who fail to pass the Foreign Language Test(be waitting to take the Foreign Language Test) 

    because the official test schedule was canceled and also applied for Thesis Examination of Degree Dissertations

    for 2020 Spring Semester based on Corona 19.

 

2. Application/Consent on Conditional Exams for Degree Dissertations

 A. Periods : May. 6 (Wed) ~ 8 (Fri), 2020 by 4:00 PM. (Strictly abided by)

 B. Where to submit : Each Department Office

 C. Submission Document: 2020 Spring Semester Application/Consent on Conditional Exams

                                    for Degree Dissertations (#Form 1)

 D. Etc.

   - Please refer to “2020-1 Guidelines for Dissertation Examination” for the further details 

    of Degree Dissertation Examination process.

 

 

3. ‘Original’ Submission of Test Score Report for exempting Foreign Language Test

  A. Submission period : Jun. 1 (Mon) ~ Jun. 16 (Tue) 16:00 (*mandatory)

 

  B. Where to Submit

    - Students at the Seoul Campus : Graduate School Office (Room 127, Graduate School)

    - Students at the Sejong Campus : Faculty & Educational Affairs Team(the administration building, 1st Floor)

     * Only Original documents by visiting of applicant (E-mail, FAX is not allowed)

 

  C. If applicant can’t submit Foreign Language Test Score by the above deadline,

       Thesis Examination of Degree Dissertations Result for 2020 Spring Semester is “Fail” because you are not 

       possible to meet the condition of Dissertation Application finally.
