“Data Science in Practice” is a special program featuring CEOs, CTOs, top experts, and developers from industry, education, and research communities driven by the advancement of data science.

 

To enhance graduate students’ understanding and engagement, this seminar invited graduate students from related fields.

 

The seminar is open to all members of the Korea University Seoul Campus.We look forward to your interest and participation.

1	13:00~14:00 (1 hour)	Understanding Edge AI and On-Device AI Technologies   Understand the concept and importance of Edge AI, in which artificial intelligence operates directly on various devices such as smartphones, wearable devices, and home appliances, and explore the roles and key features of the hardware technologies that enable it. 2	14:00~15:00 (1 hour)	The Concept of Federated Learning as a Privacy-Preserving Learning Method   This session introduces the fundamental principles of federated learning, which enables AI training without centrally collecting data, and explains key issues in practical applications, including data heterogeneity, security, and privacy protection.
